Pop Up Kayak

Here’s a simple design that my son Arthur and I put together for a friend’s Kayaking party.
We once actually made a full size version of this Pop Up and sailed Arthur across a pond in it! It wasn’t made of card of course, we used very thin ply and it worked a treat, even if it was a little wobbly!!

The children of Drayton Park School reading ‘Big Bug Little Bug’

Wow!, I really wasn’t expecting this!
The children had learnt the whole of Big Bug Little Bug and performed it for me, Amazing!

Drayton Park School at Islington Central Library

Just some of the great work created by the children (and grown ups!) of Drayton Park School in London as part of the PopUp Festival of Stories at Islington central Library in London.
A really creative bunch of kids created their own totally original pop up bugs and monsters based on my children’s books, Big Bug Little Bug and Dinosaur Roar!
The children were a delight to work with and everyone left with something quite unique and I mean everyone!
