Pop Up Kayak
Here’s a simple design that my son Arthur and I put together for a friend’s Kayaking party.
We once actually made a full size version of this Pop Up and sailed Arthur across a pond in it! It wasn’t made of card of course, we used very thin ply and it worked a treat, even if it was a little wobbly!!

A gallery of work by Ray Marshall, pop up maestro, who is based in California but who, oddly, I met at my son’s school fete some years back, whilst I was barbecuing burgers in a doctors uniform, after face painting wounds and bruises onto children! Looking forward to meeting him here in Dorset, UK in the summer when he comes to visit family.
Pop Up Festival of Stories
I’m delighted to be appearing as part of the Pop Up Festival of Books in London on monday.
I will be appearing at Islington Central Library at 10pm on June 13th, where we will be doing a pop up workshop on the theme of Bugs, with reference to my new book for Caterpillar Books, Big Bug Little Bug and then I will be going on to visit Drayton Park School to do a Dinosaur Roar Pop Up workshop!
